What do you like more about it? How is it better than the Mopar one?
Never have even seen a Mopar one so I don’t have a reference point. I thought that the Mopar one was plastic. This one is glass.

This is 4 years of use, 50k miles. I didn't use a screen protector. The corner of the screen started to unlaminate itself.

I know it looks bad but it only looks this bad when the screen is off and the sun is hitting it. When it's on you can't really see how worn it is.

My jeep dealer replaced it and im going to buy the mopar screen protector for the new one this time

This is the worn screen when it's on, again you can't really tell unless it's off and the sun is hitting it.

Added the Mopar screen protector the first month I had it. No worries about scratches or whatever... Screen still looks like new on my 2018.

I use a tempered glass one from Amazon. Peace of mind knowing I can’t scratch it now and the glass feels and looks better IMO

First “mod” I did was add the screen protector. The day I got it. Got one off Amazon and it’s two years and going strong. As others mentioned there’s been several posts about over time smudges, marks, etc have been known to show up on the screen. It’s such a cheap add on id rather add it for my sanity so I’m kicking myself down the road

I have an alpine head unit in my JK that’s started to delaminate over the frequently used icons. Whenever my JL shows up I’ll definitely be putting a screen protector on it.

It came the other day and I finally got time to install it, I accidentally installed it a little to the right 🤦‍♂️ but it's fine, my bad. After I install it, it started trippin like a button was being pressed and it kept pressing buttons by its self. You have to reset it and it'll be fine, push in and hold the volume and tuner buttons in for 5 secs and let go, it'll reboot and it's good to go .

I was panicking lol, it took me 2 hours to figure how to reset it.

And my question is what happens when you want to replace the screen protector? Can it come off without damaging the screen?
