Ok, here's something I'm wondering... Is there any way that you all think that the Trasharoo (or similar) could, or will be, modified for use with the JL and it's associated backup camera. I can't see any way, but I figured I'd put this out there for the JLWF brain trust to ponder... Things that make you go hmmmmm...

I have thought of this, but I figure I won't be using my backup camera much if at all on a trail run requiring a trasharoo, so I expect to just cover the camera.

You don't think that, when the Trasharoo is loaded, it will damage the camera? I figured the same as you as far as off road, but I also don't want to break the camera. Maybe some sort of shroud over it?

I doubt it, the camera has the steel shroud and is pointed downwards, but you could slap some tape over the camera to protect it further.

tape or plastic was my plan. i usually travel with 2 trasharoo's but that might be too much weight so ig 1 it is. i'd hate to damage that cam

May want your camera at some point, apparently you can turn it on while in 4lo, could come in handy at some point

Yeah, maybe, but I figure I have survived this long without a backup camera on the trail, so I will probably be able to get by without it.

For sure, would love to see them integrate it somehow. We'll see, worst case I'll roll without camera

Curious to see trasharoo evolved for JLU. I have a dog and I'd like to keep all our waste/trash outside of the jeep.

Seems more likely to evolve the camera for the Trasheroo. Relocate it to the top of the bumper when trail riding, perhaps.

Also - i have the third camera relocation to right above the camera. Wondering if there's a trasharoo equivalent that can accommodate this. Wishful thinking I know, but worth asking,

I just came back from a trip to the Danial Boone national forest and Smokey Mountains using my trasharoo over the camera on my 2 door JLR. I didn’t cover the camera in any way during the trip and there was no damage whatsoever. We even used the trasharoo to haul firewood a few times with no issues or damage to the camera
