I bought a 1 1/2 ton Pro Eagle big wheel floor jack (their smallest), since Pro Eagle is about a mile away from me. I also found what I think is the maker of a famous Aussie brand of hydraulic bumper jacks and ordered a couple.Hey Charlie. I just saw this thread being brought to life. Thanks for letting me use your scissor Jack on the Rubicon last summer. I now also carry a good 4 ton bottle jack in my Jeep instead of just the stock scissor jack . You sure made changing my tire easier.
I did notice your scissor jack did sustain a significant torsional distortion while lifting a front corner of my 392, to the point that it was really hard to turn the screw for that last bit of lift needed. So, my question is, did the jack survive? When we screwed it back down has everything worked well after that? If I owe you a new jack just say so.
What are you using for a jack now anyway? Has the scissor jack remained your preferred trail jack?
They're also called "tractor jacks".TIL hi-lift jacks are also called farm jacks.

Cheaper than the ARB? Seems to be high quality in the picture. These arrived today. Might be just what the doctor needs.
Seem to be well made. Powerful. Easy to lift
likely from same factory.Cheaper than the ARB? Seems to be high quality in the picture.
But they are sometimes called "cracker jacks" after the handle smacks the user's chin. But they are not called
Although the two I got have more raised longitudinal ribs on the body than the Aussie, some of their videos and pix show the Aussie style body. I think they are the the maker of those. Not that it matters.likely from same factory.
Link?likely from same factory.
Just be aware, they want about $125 or so to ship (air). I was able to whitle on the shipping a bit.Link?
Probably save some shipping on a group buy and doing slow boat shipping of a pallet of them. Might take a couple months, but the price might make it worth it.Link?
