You just have to program the parameters on the engine you’d like to monitor. I did it for my daughter’s 7.3, and once I get my scan gauge back, I’ll probably use it on the Wench’s JLURD.

I programmed all of them on the list, which was a tedious PITA

I just keep boost (BST?), turbo temp (TRB), soot mass (STM), and regen on/off (RGN) up on the screen. But I guess I like having the ability to scroll thru the others if I need to

Just settle in listening to a podcast or whatever while you punch in the codes

You will be adding all those numbers, with exception to "notes", during the XGauge setup process. When setting up XGauges, device will find an open slot.

I have a Scangauge 2 as the 3 wasn’t out yet at time of my purchase but honestly due to its size and price I think you’d be better off putting that towards a banks idash or derringer

Not difficult to do, time consuming scrolling through and adding numbers. The first XGuage you enter will be slow going, you may even mess it up, but it will not "accept" it until it is correct at the end, so don't worry. By my 4th Xgauge programming, I was flying through the numbers.

STM is very useful. TRB is good so you know when to shut down.
