Fastest I've had mine, was just under 90 about a month ago. Was a curiosity thing, not at all the norm. What made it feel wrong, was the steering getting lighter to the touch. At 4" above a stock Rubicon and 38's, I've got a lot of cubic feet of air trapped under the Jeep. The larger that air cushion gets, the more affect it'll have on overall stability and even traction due to uplift.

In my opinion, the limit is mainly due to factory tire specs and bread truck aerodynamics. Increased ground clearance brings a lot of benefits to our Jeeps, but high speed stability is not one of them.

The 392's are also speed limited to 97mph as well.
I wonder if they built a 392 with no lift kit and no oversized tires, if they will let it go 100 mph? I need my sleeper

The 110 MPH calibration is part of the limited slip option which includes Dana 44 and off-road tires.

The limit is set by what tires come on the jeep. MT get limited to 97 and the street tires gets limited to 110/115(it on of them).

You can use JScan or AlfaODB to adjust that limit.

I did the same with my minibike. Went like hell for a few hours, and then threw a rod.

Yeah, but you had those few hours and and excuse to get a faster bike... Buddy of mine has wives like that...

Does anyone know here in JScan this is set?

We found that amusing until we got to West TX....
Went to college in Abilene, TX. Can confirm.

SW Texas is even worse. The fastest I've ever driven a car was 108 in my '99 Hyundai Accent. Thing had a 4-banger that gave *96* horsepower. No clue how it got to 108, but it did on a stretch of I-10 between Fort Stockton and San Antonio.
