With Labor Day coming up, to Honor everyone who has been involved with building Jeeps, I took a photo by the Overland smoke stack (site of the old Jeep factory in Toledo). This is my 2021 Wrangler with it’s 1941 “uniform”.

I'm sure somebody has done it, but having just installed a set of these on my Willys, I'm glad I added a 2.5" lift at the same time. If you don't plan to go off road, you would probably be okay running them on a Rubicon takeoff suspension.

I did the TeraFlex 2.50" base spring lift with shocks and progressive bump stops, and high clearance front fender flares. I've got 8" of clearance from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender liner, so this is serious overkill for the guy who isn't going to take the thing off-road.

I am new to this Jeep forum. Never see any Sahara Altitude models. Here is mine purchased in March. Need to get new tires and wheels. Can I fit 315/70r17 with no lift?

If my math is correct the 315/70 is ~34.4". Basically, a 35" tire. For comparison sake, my 35/12.50 Nitto's measure 34.75". But I digress.

Based on a ton of "no lift" research I did for my Rubicon, it is my understanding you will have rubbing issues on the Sahara. On top of that, you'll have to add the oversized spare tire mount to fit the new tire on the tailgate. To my knowledge, the Rubicon model is the only model you can directly bolt-on a 35" or 315/70 tire without issue b/c of 1) high-line fenders, 2) factory ride height and 3) larger spare tire mount. Someone can gladly correct me if I'm wrong.

Sooo, can you fit it? Probably. Will you experience rubbing? Most likely. Based on my current and previous builds, I'd recommend a 2" spacer lift for your Sahara which will allow you to easily run up to a 35".

I ordered a sarge green jlur with the xr package. I love the black fender black top with sarge green. I’ll be putting on the c range 37 ko2s when I get it. Ko2s run small so hopefully I won’t rub in full flex.

I think you'll be very happy with that setup. Congrats on the new Jeep! Curious to see how the XR package turns out.

Have had mine for almost a year now! After market wheels/tires, side steps, LEDs, new front bumper. I’ve got a rear bumper on the way as well!

Well since selling our JT around 3 months ago and picking up our JL on the same day it’s finally starting to look the way we had in mind. need to sort the bump stop in the rear, waiting for the Teraflex tire carrier and then save up for axles….

39’s but the BFG runs small so it’s measures at 38”. My 37’s I had on my JT measured at 35.5”
