San Antonio area Dealerships question

Anyone have any successes buying or ordering their Wrangler JL here in San Antonio or the surrounding area? I started off e-mailing iPAC on the NW side, but talks have kind of stalled. I'm looking for some positive experiences, or even dealerships I should avoid.

Here was my experience. Copied from a previous post I made last week.

I reached out to 11 different dealers in Texas (San Antonio, Austin, Houston). Sent them all the exact same specs (Sahara - 4dr, Auto, Mojito, Dual Top, Safety Group) and asked for their best price. Below are the dealer details in order of best deal.

• 6% under invoice - DeMontrond Jeep, Conroe , Neil Carpenter
• 5% under invoice - Maik Haik Jeep, Georgetown, K.C. Gardner
• 2% under invoice - Covert Chrysler Jeep, Austin, Bart Gunkel
• Invoice price - Ancira Jeep, San Antonio, Josh Murray
• These Dealers were all above invoice, or refused to deal

• Boerne Jeep
• Ingram Park Jeep, San Antonio (would only deal in person)
• San Marcos Jeep
• South Point Jeep, Austin
• Sames Jeep, Bastrop

KC at Maik Haik was very responsive and offered a good deal, but the price diff with DeMontrond was to good to pass up. I ended up ordering from them on 06/13. Received VON at time of order, and the VIN# the next day.​

I also checked with all dealerships listed above as well as Bluebonnet Jeep. Unfortunately all SA area dealerships are not offering competitive deals. Russ at Bluebonnet is very bad about keeping in touch or returning messages so they did not earn my business. Buy from Demontrond in Conroe or Covert in Austin.

I ordered my Hella Yella Rubicon today from Covert and got my best deal with them. My salesman was Will Harrell. You will get a much better deal if you are willing to drive a bit.

Just got mine from Covert in Austin, bluebonnet didnt have the one in stock I was lookin for.. Rubicon JL.. Covert did a good job, although I had to dive to Austin.
