I gave you the info. I’ve run some VIN’s in the past. It would be as both you and I said on the front. The 97 would be on the passenger side because I ran a VIN like that. It had steel bumper, hardtop, towing, and that optional cargo rail system in the back.
Thanks that is pretty much what I've found. My Willy's has a hardtop but none of the other stuff. That's why I'm thinking that a 91 / 92 would be a better fit. The 97 would probably work, but might cause a lean to the driver's side. If I change out the springs, it's just to get that 1 - 2 inches. I just replaced the 255/75 17 mud terrains with 285/75 17 all terrains. This should set the Willy's up like a Rubicon on 34 tires.

Thank you

Thanks to this thread, I know what springs I'm after for my Sahara....

But I do have one question, is there any difference in the shocks that came with JLU Rubicons?

from the Sahara? yeah. They're red. The rubi shocks are also longer, theyll let your sahara flex more.

No, I mean on the JLUR were all of the shocks the same, or were they like the springs with many different rates?

You might want 61/62 up front in case you didn’t know they were available.
I’ve only heard all the standard 18+ Rubicon shocks were the same. They also have internal bump stops to dampen full extension some and protect the shock.

Thanks for the info.

I'm now looking at a set on craigslist from a '21 JLUR.

Springs are 68307622AD & 62853601AA.

I can't figure these out? Any ideas?

Owner says they're off of a 3L Eco Diesel with hard top and tow pkg.

So, I'm going to buy the Rubicon shocks from the guy with the diesel and order my own springs.

Should I add the 68322798AA LCA’s?
If those are the LCA's from the Mopar lift kit, it is not necessary, but many suggest it. Please post how much lift you get, as I am in a similar situation. I've got a 2020 Willy's ( so I have the rubi shocks ), and a set of rubi springs, waiting for install. I'm trying to decide if I want to add a 1 inch spacer front, and a half inch spacer rear in addition to the rubi springs. FWIW, when I do this I will add the LCA's.

They are the ones from the Mopar lift kit. I have the Rubicon shocks and I'll hopefully have the springs within a week to install them. I'll keep you posted.

So these are the takeoff springs/shocks I bought from a JLUR diesel owner. I'm only planning on using the shocks since I have no idea what the result would be with these springs. Fronts and rear springs are the same left and right.

I have the springs (part numbers in post #22 above) on order. As well as the 68322798AA LCA's from the Mopar lift.

But I am curious. Can anyone shed any light on these springs?

So got it all installed today by a local shop that specializes in Jeeps. Too effing cold to do it myself. Turned out perfect. This is exactly what I was after. Up about 1.5" from where it was. Drives great.

Thanks !!!

My LCAs arrived today, and my springs were already here. I'm waiting for a 3/4" all around daystar spacer kit.

the springs are
68253591 LR / 68253592 RR
and
68253662 RF / 6825XXXX LF (spring not tagged seems to be 68253661 - it is slightly smaller than the 3662).

Interestingly, these springs came from a JLU Rubicon with some options. the RR spring was a 68253597 (noticeably taller) so i got a 68253591 mail order.

Now if someone could explain what the plastic guards are on the springs, I'd be grateful. my 3591 does not have the plastic guard, but the 3597 does so I may try to peel it off the 3597 and place it on the 3591.

Thanks

Yup, I bought my springs new online from a CDJR dealer in Florida and my 3591 LR spring didn't have the plastic on it either. I didn't worry about it.

BTW, I did get the LCA's from the Mopar lift kit. With everything installed today, the alignment specs show my caster sitting at 5.1 left and 4.9 right. Pretty sure this is optimal. No idea what it would have been without them.
