Picked this up as soon as I saw it. Just came today. Not a bad install. Nice product. I already had their CAI. They do make an option for just the vents if you don’t. Love the look of actually functional vents.

Nice install! So the driver's side vent just brings air into the engine bay.. it doesn't have any other function?

Also does the air box holding the filter have a drain? I'm wondering if it would ever fill up with water.

Man i love the look but hate the idea you have to put plugs in to keep snow/water out. I know i would loose those in the first week. But it sure looks good!!!! What does the key do
in the front grill is that a lock???

So every time it rains or wash your car you have to get out and plug the vents?

What if someone accidentally pours water onto your Jeep?

Good use of the non-functional rubicon hood vents from that vendor. Mopar CAI is the same in the sense you have to put a door on the hood vent for rain. Not a big deal, i just keep it in the glove box.

Wonder if your bug deflector may negatively affect air going into the vent though.

Yes the drivers side only brings air into the engine compartment . I don’t remember if the air box has holes in the bottom. You could easily drill some if not.

Nice set up. Looks really good and adds some functionality to the non-functional hood vents.

How does it keep water out while driving in a storm???
The scoops were designed to separate water from the air, so driving in rain won't be an issue. The plugs that come with the scoops are there for snow as while our scoops will separate water, snow will unfortunately clog the scoops.

The scoops were designed to separate the water from the air so using them in rain is fine. Snow however will just clog the scoops which is why we provided good looking plugs for winter time. Let me know if you have any other questions.
