You need a 2.5” or more. Off road it will rub at anything smaller. Not hard to adjust it, but it will rub. Also, WTF is a stablizer? Are you a pot head Evan? Lol.But like with the 37’s cause rubbing with just a 2inch or do I need all those stablizers?
I just got my wheels and tires put on this week. Waiting for Metal Cloaks 2.5" lifts. Normal DD driving, no problem whatsoever. I haven't had a chance to get on the dirt yet, but 90% of my offroading is just forest roads and the like.I haven't seen anyone run 37's on a Rubicon without a lift...I'd be curious to see what that looks like.
37's no liftHe's referring to the steering stabilizer. I think it's pretty common practice on JK's to upgrade the steering stabilizer with any kind of lift kit. Doesn't seem as common with lifted JL's.
I haven't seen anyone run 37's on a Rubicon without a lift...I'd be curious to see what that looks like. I think the general consensus is that 35's on a Rubicon without a lift look the best, and 37's on a Rubicon with a 2" lift (or more) look the best. Notice I said "look" the best, and not "perform" the best.
