Rumbling sound on 2020 rubicon after hill climb

I have a 2020 rubicon with 2.0 engine. When offroad, after driving up a steep hill, I hear what sounds like an air compressor running for 10-30 seconds. Any idea what that could be?

Front, back, in 2-wheel, 4-wheel drive, low or high gear?

Fairly certain its happened in all modes - 2wd, 4hi, 4lo. Sounds like its coming from passenger front. Actually sounds like a 4 stroke atv and the first time I heard it with windows down I stopped and looked for an atv on the trail. Very strange.

Was my first reaction as well, but rumbling, even more, sounds like a 4-stroke ATV... those are not fan-like noises...
