Rugged Ridge Trekker Winch

I am going to be purchasing the Rugged Ridge Venator bumper and am looking at getting a winch for it. I was thinking of getting the Rugged Ridge Trekker 10,000lb with synthetic line. There aren’t many reviews of it online and was curious to see if any of you have it, and if you do, how do you like it?

Nope not yet. I’m kind of leaning towards the Smittybilt XRC Gen 3 now because of the fact that there are videos/reviews of it. If I do get the Trekker I’ll post about it here!

I just ordered the Trekker 10,000lb with synthetic line for $467 with free shipping and the Venator bumper with the Overrider for $695 free shipping. Really hope I got a good deal and that I will be happy with the winch and bumper combo.

Got the winch today and it looks really nice and durable. I will be ordering a factor 55 shackle mount for it. The bumper will ship by next week. I will post pics when it arrives.

I've used the 10k lb model to pull an F-150 with a seadoo 15ft boat attached out of the sand on the beach. Multiple recoveries yesterday on a snowy, muddy trail and through 3ft of half frozen water. Most of the other vehicles winches were down and/or frozen.
