Hey guys, got these new Rugged Ridge Max Terrain Fender Flares. Current config on my Sport are 35s with stock suspension no lift. With my -44 offset and splash guard delete I only rubbed on turns on uneven pavement. With these fenders I’m finally clear of any rubbing gained 4+ inches of clearance.

I think they look great. I am currently trying to figure out what route to go on fenders. Running 2.5" lift with 35's right now, wife has agreed to 37's and I either need Rubi high tops or aftermarket. I will have to take a closer look at these.

I was leaning on Rubi High Tops at first, but the DRLs on these just give the Jeep a much more modern, cleaner look. Granted you can modify the High Tops and fit these DRLs with them but I figured why go through all that trouble and decided to go with this fender kit. I wish the DRL was integrated into the fenders, they are not. They are floating and fender surrounds it. Maybe not the most well thought out fenders but they look great and have been holding up so far. Worth taking a look as long as you know what you are buying. They also give you more clearance than high tops. Worth mentioning I got NO errors from the DRLs.

do these work with stock inner liners? Also my sport has halogens, did the fenders come with the lights?

They do work with stock liners but they do require cutting and slight retrofitting. The manual makes it easy to follow. I have stock liners on now but it does look a bit tacky. It’s best to go aftermarket to be honest. Mine are halogen too, fenders do come with the lights and as long as you disconnect battery before install they should not throw any error codes after.

Can you post more pics of the rear fenders and how they line up with the bumper? Thanks!

It’s not perfect, but it don’t bother me. I’m sure it’ll bother some people.

Man Im still rocking back between these and the rubi high tops. The rear fenders will line up with rubi bumpers, plastic or metal. There was someone who retrofitted a sahara end cap to the rubi bumper and called it a day.

The major thing that's stopping me is the fender liner situation, most of the aftermarket ones look tacky imo and show the body. Cutting the stock ones makes it look even worse. I'd be all over these if ruggedridge had a fender liner that looked oem.

Any long term update on these? How have they held up for you? Close to pulling the trigger on these to replace my cheapo amazon rusted tube fenders.
