I called rugged ridge and they said the “inner” cowl mount should work with the snorkel for those looking to keep their cowl mounted lights.

I think another advantage to this setup is that you can lower the windshield. You would just switch out to the low option. I know most people don't run that way, but I did last summer and it was a blast. I'll be doing it at some point every summer, so that would be an important feature for me. I think the ARB snorkel would allow for this, too, but not the Mopar, since it is attached to the windshield frame. Not sure about AEV's snorkel yet.

It doesn't seem like this will work with the genesis dual battery setup.
Anyone know if the genesis dual battery works with this snorkel yet?

Alright @Rugged Ridge when are y’all getting a 3.0 to play with and figure out how to route your snorkel plumbing around the fluid filler caps on the driver side?

Question for those that have installed:
Did you remove the inlet air duct behind the grille as recommended? Does it actually need to be removed?

I did. I did it with my bumper and winch installed and it was a pain. My assumption is that it would be in the way of the drain tube.

After having it for a week or so I noticed a few things.
1) The hose closer to the inlet gets pressed by the hood. Don’t think it matters but something to keep an eye on.
2) What I consider a fairly large gap at the bottom of the high mount where the gasket meets the fender. For $600 of plastic, I would expect the design to be perfect. I’m high disappointed in the fitment, as I do love the look of it. I will attach pictures of what I’m walking about. My concern it the whole point of the high mount would to seal it up to the top, whether I’m crossing water or not (I don’t plan). I even took an inside view of it.. seems way off.
