Hey Guys,

I had been running the Rugged Ridge hinge and gate reinforcement with a RC relocation bracket and the stock carrier. RR finally released their carrier that is designed to work with their hinge. It is a very nice design and is solid. The mount is adjustable for tilt and depth and it has simple, intuitive solutions for the back-up camera and 3rd brake light. There are almost no pictures on the internet of this setup on a JL so here you go.....

I "untilted" the carrier and decided how to re-mount my CB antenna. I think it worked out great.

I think the un-tilted looks better even if you have the slant soft top. I have the Teraflex Alpha carrier but if they don't release a hinge I will most likely end up with the RR hinge like yours. How's it holding up with the 38?

It is holding up great. I would have no issues hanging a 40 on it.
