My wife and I were installing a Rugged Ridge brake light ring this evening, and realized that the instructions are to just bypass the OEM brake light above the spare tire.

I saw that Quadratec used to sell a Y-connector to power both of them, but it looks like they're no longer available... :(

Is there a way to effectively splice the Rugged Ridge ring into the brake light connection so that both work? We don't want to lose the factory light.

Would using something like this work?
