So, I really like the idea of the Rubicon X 4xe but had some questions about what the X gets you other than leather seats. I know it doesn’t come with 35s but what about the upgraded knuckles and what not? Is the tire size the only difference between the 4xe Rubicon X and the v6 Rubicon X? Anyone know?

For some of the extra options, the X is now the only way to get them (i.e. painted fenders, painted top, and leather). Heated seats, metal bumpers, and safety group are still an extra cost option in the non-X but are all included in the X package price. As far as I know, the axles are the same.

Perhaps the better way to ask is: is there any differences between the Rubicon X on the 4xe and the v6 other than the tire size and one inch lift? I am planning to put bigger tires and the Mopar 4xe lift on so I don’t care about the tire size or mini lift. I am just curious if there are other things that drop off too.

We're going from a '21 Sahara 4xe to a '24 4xe, just haven't determined the trim yet, though we were seriously considering the Willy's.

But we really want the power box, which may means (thought information is still very sketchy ...) we need to step up to the Rubicon 4xe.

Here's the interesting thing about a "regular" Rubi vs. the Rubi X: if you add a hardtop (even just black) and the 3 package options, it's right at the price of the X, plus the X gets the steel bumpers, and the leather seats which keep in mind are also powered/memory which would be great for us since we switch drivers quite a bit.

FWIW, the Willy's loaded up the same way was about $6K less than the Rubi X but like the regular Rubi you're getting a number of extra goodies, plus (again, per my current understanding) the power box, and a meatier wheel/tire/offroad setup.

Have the Rubicon X 4xe. I believe the only difference between the 4xe and non 4xe is the no option for 35s on the 4xe.

It also doesn’t have the tailgate reinforcement. I am wondering about knuckles too.

I got the rubicon x 4xe and it has everything that you would otherwise pay for as options in other models. I do have the 35s it wasn’t an option they came standard and it is slightly lifted compared to other models

You sure you have 35s? Every single 24 X 4xe I have seen in the country has had 33s stock.

You’re correct I think I was going to order the 35s that’s why I thought I had them. My bad. It’s the 33s.
