Not sure if it is the physical measurement or the tyre "size" . As sometimes it differs greatly between the two. A 35 inch simex centipede use to be closer to 36 x 12.5 inch (back 16 years ago atleast). Even thou it had 35 x 10.5 on side wall.

I think you will find that to be 33's
1 inch on the tyres and 2 inches on the lift is all we are allowed without engineers certificate.
Doesn’t that mean you can get 2 inch bigger tires though because the overall lift from it would only be 1 inch?

Yes, you are right (sorry confusing old laws when you could only go one inch bigger in tire size). The total max lift is 3 inches or 75mm. That allows for 1 inch lift in the tires (2 inch in diameter) plus 2 inches in the suspension.
