I leave mine at 28/30psi-

Very smooth ride/great steering and at pressures like that--she doesn't try to follow every groove in the asphalt and works PRIMO in sand !

Yeah and I have a set of Hankook Dynapros M/T RTO3--LT 295/75X16- range "D"--

The stock Ruby BFGs are range "C"-

I've beem using HANKOOKS for over 18 years-

JIMBO
@JIMBOX Are you running the same tires that the stock Rubi is delivered with?

That's a tiny bit high, should be between (front/rear 32/36, but-

There are many different theories on the air pressure you should run with the jeep 4dr/2dr and MAINLY it's dependent on your MAJOR use of the jeep-

IF IT'S A 90% HIWY JEEP THEN the load range should probably be D/E and the RUBY 2/dr stockers is "C", which is ideal for the lighter OFF-ROAD JEEP, because of SUPER FLEXABLE SIDEWALL--

This probably won't set to well with most of you, but for the last 12 years By running 33/35" Hankook dynapros "D"--at 28psi--I never air down-for rocks/sand--once in a GREAT WHILE for snow--SHE ISN'T USED ON THE HIWY (rarely)--Pyramid lake is 20 minutes/Lake Tahoe is 45 minutes and the Sierras N/S is 1 hour-

My Ruby lives in the North Nv Desert !!

The tire sticker next to the vin tag states 37psi. I have played with the tire pressure a few plus and minus degrees. 37 seems to be pretty good.

From dealer my JLUR was at 42 all around. I set them all to 37-38 when I got home.

She feels ok but still getting used to the shorter wheelbase coming from a full size truck. To be honest she feels like a go-cart in comparison and not as “planted”/stable as the truck was at hwy speeds. I do not believe I have the loose/dead steering issue though.

I’ve been keeping them at about 33.5 cold using handheld gauge. That seems to put them between 32 and 34 cold. Ride is good, no steering issues.

My 2 door drives like a sorta bad sports car. But I love it! Traded perhaps the worlds best steering sports car to get the Jeep, though.. so take my comment for what it’s worth.
