Due to all the knowledge shared here I went ahead and picked up a Rubicon 4dr hardtop suspension + Mopar lift LCAs + terraflex .5" spacers and put them on my 2 door sport hardtop (summer softop) and gained about 2" I do feel like the steering is better with the longer LCAs, it seems to track the road better

Do any of the early posters have long term results on this? How has it held up? Are you still happy? Any issues? I found a set of Springs and struts only from a Rubicon for $70. Only have 20 miles on them. I have a JL sport. Am I correct that that is all I need?

I'm also interested in long term reviews. I bought the whole rubi suspension takeoffs but planning to swap just the springs and shocks. Might buy longer LCA in the future. You should check the part numbers for the springs. Lower numbers won't give you much lift.

Got around 10,000 miles on it so far, no issues. And really, why would there be any, it's no different than if you bought a Rubicon (settle down Rubi's - I'm talking ride and component durability, longevity).

Installed rubicon take off springs and new Fox 2.0 shocks on our Sport S over the weekend. I didn’t change the sway bar links or control arms, they all were identical to my sport parts as previously mentioned here. I got all of those parts from the rubicon take off suspension I bought locally, but didn’t need them.

I installed rake off rubicon wheels and 285 K02’s the week before. The change is dramatic. Feels like I’m back in a proper Jeep again vs the stock Sport setup, which actually did come with the upgrade all terrain tires from the dealership.

Here are some stats from the lift and tires for me

Stock springs / shocks on Bridgestone Dueler A/T 245/75/r17
Front 34.5”
Rear 35.25”

Rubicon wheels and BFG K02 285/70/r17
Front 36” (+1.5” over stock)
Rear 36.75” (+1.5” over stock)

Rubicon wheels / tires and rubicon springs / fox 2.0 shocks
Front 38” (+2” over stock suspension)
Rear 38.75” (+2” over stock suspension)

So overall the swap including wheels / tires and suspension netted a solid 3.5” lift (measures to underside of fender flare). The ride is terrific and the look is 100x improved. Not bad for a few hours work and a couple hundred bucks!

Here are some before and after pics for each stage of the swap.

I did the exact same thing. I used the Terraflex 1/2" spacers. But I put the 61 on the right and the 60 on the left. I paid $70 for all the springs and struts and they were almost brand new. I put them on in a driveway with my friend. We did one tire at a time. Supported on jack stands. Removed tire and the strut. Used a floor jack. Only removed one bolt from the say bar arm. Removed old spring. Put in the new spring and spacer. Jacked axle back up and put in new strut. Reconnoitered saw bar link. We the did one tire at a time. The only one that was a bit tight was the rear driver side. Without the spacers it would have been even easier. It took a total of 4 hours. If we did it again it would probably only take 3 hours. Did not have to disconnect anything else. I ordered the new LCA but have not received them yet. Steering did not have to be adjusted. It drives perfectly and does not pull in either direction. Once the new control arms come in I will install and have an alignment done. My original springs were:

68253657AC - Front Left Spring

68253658 - Front Right Spring

68253587AA - Rear Left Spring

68253588AA - Rear Right Spring

I gained 2 1/2 inches at the rear. I also put on BFG KO2 285/70R17 E rated tires. I bought them off a guy that took them off a JK Rubicon with less then 6000 miles. Made in April 2018. I got the rims as well. Only paid $700. I liked the rims better but was not convinced that the new lug nut would hold correctly as it did not fully seat. With the tires and Rubicon take offs I gained a total of 3 1/2 inches on the rear. I parked next to a Rubicon with the exact same tires and config and it sat at the same height. Total cost was under $1200. I'm going to try to resell the Rubicon rims and my stock tires. Ill be lucky to get $300. Here is a picture next to the Rubicon.

I swapped out the suspension from my JLU with one from a Rubicon about a month ago. Also the .5" Terraflex spacers and the slightly longer LCAs from the Mopar 2" lift kit. I cannot stress what an improvement in handling and ride it's been! I enjoyed rolling around the back prairie roads before but now it's even smoother. I can take winding ridgeline curves a little easier too.

I just had Rubicon take off springs and shocks, mopar lower control arms, and teraflex 1.5 in spacer leveling kit installed on my sport s. Seems to have lifted a little over 3in all the way around. Rides a good bit firmer but it drivers and tracks straight. So far I am very happy. My 35s are ordered, but not here yet, so it looks kind of funny on the stock wheels and tires.

I will get a real lift later on and move to 37s, but for now, this is perfect.

I am not planning on re gearing with the 35s, but I will when (if) I ever go to 37s. I might just stick with the 35s, but knowing me, in a few years I will want to move up....

I have a 2019 2 door 6 cyl/auto Rubicon with hard top and tow package. It has the same spring codes as the Rubicon you listed. I wonder if they changed the codes for the 2019 model year ?
I have a 2019 Rubicon v-6 with tow package, hardtop, and steel bumper group. My front springs are not 230/231, but are 231/232.

Do you know the part numbers for the Rubicon springs that you installed?

About to go for this as well. Mopar lift LCAs on order and got Rubi takeoffs locally.
I'm thinking of .5" spacer on the front just to take out the rake. Has anyone done this?
Any other recommendations?

I don't know how much rake exists in a stock Sport S, but my Sahara had minimal rake prior to the Rubi suspension swap. Absolutely NO RAKE after the swap. I did however get the tallest front springs from a rubi (-60 and -62 from a hardtop steel bumper vehicle). I did use 0.5" spacers in ALL 4 corners too.

What I am saying is if you get the tallest front springs then you probably don't need front only spacers to get rid of rake - just look for the right takeoffs. Would also HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mopar Lower Control arms to minimize caster loss.
