I am not concerned with wiring or switches. That is the easy part imo. On my JK I kept the wiring complete independent of the Jeep harness. I plan to do the same with the JL.I'm sure he could but the AUX seemed like a simpler solution . We went the AUX route because for that price it does the same thing, is easy for the dealer to add it in to the computer and then you still have a couple of switches available. Plus we control the switches and can use lockers whenever we want... i.e. don't need to be in 4 wheel drive if we want to play around.
