Hey Jeep Fam, this is getting some traction again. I can make another run after the holidays as they are VERY time consuming to hand make batches and the Endcap contours are a 3 part heat application to make it form properly (ie good craftsmanship). Start to finish, each set takes me 4hr to make without changing the application to a press cut and heat mold (manufacturing)
I’ll have to source bulk materials over the holidays and can start taking orders during the holidays. As I did with the others, Pay Pal pre-order, conversation page with all people that placed orders, progress updates, and forecasted timeline for bulk shipping. This worked well last time, however given the time in making I may have to increase the price to offset overhead.

I just mocked up the passenger side with some aluminum. It’s needs a few tweaks.

We made a couple of these out of Kydex scraps a couple years agp. We didn’t think to make a template, as the Kydex was light, free, and easy to form. We took a piece a little bigger than necessary, put it against the back of the bumper, traced the outline, then cut along the outline. Then we worked with the heat gun and the belt sander to perfect the contours and fit. It takes some time, thought, and talent to do what the OP did and develop a clean looking version that can be sold to others, but my brother and I achieved the same function and appearance working from scratch in his driveway. It took us about 40 minutes for the first side and 25 minutes for the second. Pretty easy, and the material is cheap.

Drago is making aluminum end cap covers. Rather pricey at nearly $300 a pair and the logo looks kinda dumb and unnecessary imo. Really not sure why this isn't a $50 plastic Mopar accessory..

100% agree. Just curious (since I haven't purchased a Wrangler yet, but want one configured with the stubby steel bumper), is that same section exposed with the extensions left in place? In any case, that seems like poor oversight in the design to leave wiring/electronics exposed to the elements like that.

I’m not sure if the op is still making these I’ve sent him a message and haven’t heard back yet. I’m not trying to hack anyones thread or steal business but if he is no longer making them I am going to be making these, they will be laser cut out of 3/16 acrylic if anyone is interested. These are the prototype made out of 1/8 acrylic and still have the paper cover on them just for reference. I will fit them tonight and get more pictures. If your interested in a set message me.
