One of the things my wife liked most about our 2018 JK Freedom Edition was the steel bumpers. She now has her 2020 JLUR, and we’d like to replace the factory standard bumpers with steel ones. Looking for advice from the group for good after market steel bumpers.

We are mall crawlers, so she mainly wants it for looks. Full width, don’t need a winch, don’t need the brush guards. Liked the looks of the rugged ridge Spartacus, but saw some pretty bad reviews on the quadratec site.

Any help is appreciated!

Watch the classified section here for takeoffs, the front can be had for a good deal and someone would likely pay you to take the rear. I sold mine for $600 for the pair.

Honestly, if you truely are mall crawlers as you stared, get Aluminum and save some weight and don't worry about corrosion.

The Mopar steel bumpers look the best IMO. You can find them new, on eBay, for $1,000. Shipping included.

Beware of the Made in China knockoffs selling for $400.

Good luck.

I don’t know, the factory steel bumpers are pretty damn light and way cheaper.

Down side is it doesn't come with the steel skid plate or plastic trim piece that goes between the bumper and grille. If you can find used sometimes the seller will include these parts free which add up to $200 to $300 more
Yeah I’m looking for a used one they are hard to find in the SE for some reason.

Thanks for all the advice. Got the OEM bumper from the dealer (bonus—came with LED fog lights) and the steel skid plate from my local dealer.
