Here’s my Rubi takeoff info (I also added a teraflex 0.5” spacer on all 4 corners).

spring info:
Orig.
DF-58 PF-59
DR-87 PR-88
Rubi
DF-61 PF-62 (+3)
DR-91 PR-92 (+4)

Measurements from ground to lower part of fender:

Before After
DF 36.75 38.25
DR 36.75 38.5
PF 36.5 38.25
PR 36.75 38.5

overall very pleased with 1.5” to 1.75” lift and hoping for Rubi takeoff fenders next.

The only trouble I had was getting the Passenger Front spring out as the axle didn’t want to drop low enough to release the spring. I was also replacing the Lower Control Arms with the Mopar 2” lift kit LCAs so I dropped the stock LCA out and the spring just Fell out. It was a bit difficult getting the new LCA in with the Jeep raised in the garage though. After swapping the new LCA on the drivers side and raising the axle up towards normal compression, the New LCA went in much smoother. The only negative effect is that my steering wheel is now an inch or so turned to the left as I drive straight.

I went straight to the 1/2” impact gun and they came right off. The springs were found locally through Craigslist’s. The guy had them taken off the day he bought his Jeep.

For those of us who added steel bumpers and steel step bars on a JLU Sahara, I assume this will get us back to factory height unless I add larger spacers? I think I lost about 3/4-1" at all 4 tires. I had originally planned to get the Rubi takeoff and then do all that, but decided it'd be easier to get the weight (or most of it) on there first and then decide on the lift amount I wanted/needed.

Ok we got our Jeep done today. Only ended up using the rear rubicon springs but used all 4 shocks. Did a Teraflex 1.5” spacer in the front and a 1” in the rear. Went with ridge grapplers in 285/70/18 with 1.75” wheel spacers. I think it turned out really well. Here’s some before and after pics.

This might be weird, but those 58/59's on that Rubicon , have a different spring rate than your Saharas.

Trust me I know, because I remove my 90's rear from my Sahara, and compared it to the Rubicon's..and the Rubicon's spring was wider, despite same length.

I would swap the fronts too..(Do not use the Sahara ones)

Does anyone have experience installing the Rubicon 4xe springs on a JL Sahara? The spring numbers are 3666 and 3674, at least on a set I see, which are considerably higher in number than most at 3661/62 in front and 3591/3592 in back. Gas powered JL’s have one digit higher spring on the passenger side to accommodate gas tank and probably other weights, but that obviously doesn’t apply to the 4xe and the spring numbers are the same. So if the 61/62 and 91/92 combo gives almost 2” of lift and it’s been stated here that every digit gives 1/4” to a 1/2” lift, does that mean this 66 and 74 set will give even more? Could this theoretically give a Sahara or Sport a 3” lift? Thoughts?

Looking to make the Rubicon takeoff swap on my 2019 JL SAHARA. As others have stated I’m looking to get ~1” lift to retain factory wheel well sizing and balance with a set of rubicon 33” tires.

Current SAHARA suspension numbers below.

What Rubicon suspension numbers should I be looking for to ensure a 1” lift?

Passenger (Front) - 58
Driver (Rear) - 88
Passenger (Rear) - 89

61/62 only have my Sahara precisely (seriously measured to the nearest 1/16”) 1”. A 90/91 gave me .750” out back fwiw.

My JLU Islander (stock with tow package / hard top) started with:
58 / 59
88 / 89

From other posts, It seems you should get about 1/4"-1/2" per spring number, but don't forget to factor in if you are planning for winch, steel bumpers, etc.

Here is a post you might want to take a look at: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...gs-suspension-information-chart-matrix.66591/

FWIW, I installed 33" Rubi wheels, shocks, springs, and 1/2" Teraflex level kit. The "new" (takeoff) springs were +3:
61 / 62
91 / 92
(I also added winch/steel bumpers -- final result was about 1.5"):
