Just ask @cosine he knows!
Yes sir I will! Do you think there will be a tilt or do you think they are just that stiff
There might be a little difference side to side but I doubt you'll even notice unless you pull out a ruler. Mine is a 1/2" shorter on the rear passenger side, the front is 1/8" shorter on the drivers side. This is measuring from the ground to the bottom of the fender edge, and with a gas tank that is about 1/3rd full. My spring numbers are 3590 3591 3659 3661, not sure which are the front pair as it's been awhile but the larger number spring was installed on the passenger side for front & rear.

FWIW it seems very level to me :)

I finally got around to installing my Rubicon takeoff springs and shocks seeing as I’ve been checking boxes on things to get done around here with the virus going on. Honestly, I hoped for just a bit more lift as mine seems to have fallen on the low end of expectations.

My stock springs were 58/59 up front and 88/89’s out back. While I don’t have a side by side pic, I did take before and after measurements and as many times as I rechecked, I feel confident guaranteeing they are within 1/8” (.125”) tolerance at minimum.

I was told the 1-2k mile old Rubicon springs and shocks were from a hardtop, steel bumper, and tow package version. I was a little surprised the rears were not a 91/92 combination but in my mind, my springs might be best. I guessed that I might start out quite level front to back before a winch and bumper up front and that did pan out to be true. The stance is great.

Anyway, here’s where she ended up being measured by markings on a 1” dowel and a level square at the fenders lower edge staying consistent from tire to tire. She has a 1/2 tank of fuel.

How does she compare with other Sahara’s with the 2.0 ( eTorque here)?

Does any year JLU Rubicon take off suspension fit any year JLU sport/Sahara models?

That does appear to be less than what I've seen from others. I know the 2dr gets a pretty good boost from 4dr JLUR sets, mine was between 1.5 to 2" roughly. My springs were 3590 3591 3659 3661 from 4dr JLUR w/ hardtop, tow, V6/AT, and steel bumpers, what were your new spring #s?

Yes, and only the shocks & springs are different, the end links, control and track bars are the same for all models. And 2dr Rubicon sets also fit the 4dr models (with a bit less lift due to weight differences).

Oh I had that in the pic but they were 61/62 & 90/91’s.

Yes. The only concern I've seen is that the 3.6L, 2.0, and Diesel may have different springs on passenger vs driver side. As long as you get one from the same engine type you're good.

Awesome info in this thread. My Bro-in-law and I tackled my stock 2018 JLU Sahara (1st pic) and transformed her stance with take off Rubicon suspension (2nd pic). Took us 2 hours flat. Looks great! Rode great with the stock tires. I got some Rubi take off's on 35 BFG KO2's (3rd & 4th pic). It is a lot rougher ride, but it was expected. I also got the high top fenders but only had time to install the front 2 (5th & 6th pic). Had to get a relocation bracket for the spare becauseit rubbed and didn't fit. So I opted for a used smittybilt (7th pic).

I’m not even gonna say how long it took me. Most of the last two thirds of it I was training my daughter on vehicle suspension nomenclature, proper use of tools, etc, and installing/refastening parts. It was fun and we took our sweet time and followed the instructions.

Nice work Eddie!
Did you add the longer Mopar LCAs too? If not I'd highly recommend them :)

Do you have any more info on the concerns between the springs on a 2.0L vs a 3.6L? I have a set from a 2.0L hardtop, tow package (60/61, 91/92) but I’ve got a 3.6L. For what it is worth my stock spring numbers are (58/59, 87/88) also with hard top tow package. Thanks for any help!

The only thing I've heard is where the front springs were the same number for a 2.0L. But your numbers look fine for a 3.6L.
I have 3.6L and went from 57/58 & 87/88 to 60/61 and 91/92 - same as you have.
If I were you I would put a 1/2" spacer in front to level it since your front ones are only going up one number.

Thanks for the response. Do you know about how much lift the spring swap gave your Jeep?

1-1/2" from the springs. I also added 3/4" spacers all around for 2-1/4" total lift.
