I'm a newbie, bored, and looking for a project.

I want to build a street / light trail JLU and am looking for some guidance on whether to start with the Rubicon, Sahara, or Sport.

For reference, the pic is the look I'm leaning towards.

I like the look of body colored fenders and hard top, 22" wheels, 37's, but don't care for too much tire hanging out beyond the fender.

The Rubicon seems like a smart place to start, but from what I'm seeing, there are a lot of swaps, bolt-ons, etc to be had.

Any thoughts, direction, or links to threads that I'm missing would help.

If you are only looking for light trail and seem to be leaning more toward street and appearance, i think i would probably start looking at a Sahara as your base vehicle. Why add all the extra Rubi stuff if you don't plan to use it? A Sahara is capable of light trail...
