The bolts are on the underside of the chassis. You’ll see 3 large washers held in place by a bolt. Unscrew the bolt and match up the brackets on the slider and then screw the bolts back in. I used a large bucket to rest the slider on to keep it in place until I got a couple bolts on and could tighten it up.

Ok what is the benifit of keeping the Rubi rails on with these? Is it just asthetics? Functional at all? The pictures, they show on ACE its hard to tell if those are with or without the rails? Did they indicate when they will be ship?

Ship in 2 weeks or so. For me I like them for aesthetic reasons and extra protection. I hate looking at the pinch seam....looks unfinished to me.

thank you for popping up this question! since I'm new in wrangler's I had the same concerns with my grandchildren and was realy thinking of taking a Sahara instead of the rubi....now I know that I can get these...thx

I use the ACE Rails for the little lady and for rugrat access, they work great as a step.

Doubling up the Rubi rails means added protection as well as the aformentioned Aesthetics, also the easy removability means you can migrate them when you get a new Wrangler.
They also work for some stone chip protection (especially if you add mesh in the spaces, my mediocre mesh job fell off on the trail this fall, need to redo in spring).

You could remove the Rubi rails, but why? Selling them will get you so little money to not even be worth the effort of removing the stock rails and the hassle of dealing with a buyer.

I agree, and they do look better and more substantial with the rubi rails.

Yeah, and for me, they are just another layer of peace-of-mind.

Although, I’m definitely biased by past experience on that. So while they might or might not do that much more, they make me feel better having them both, which is one reason why I chose them... well that, and no welding/drilling, etc.

Only downside is they add 100lbs you constantly are burning gas hauling. But I ordered the steel bumper group so what's another 100 right... I had a set on my 2015 Willy's 2 Door, they were great.

I’ll wait until this rock slider is available for the JL. They are simple like the Mopar performance rock rail plus it has the LED that can be connected with the dome light wiring.
