Why aren't the hood bumpers and washer nozzles cut out already?
I developed a version this way, but it was incredibly hard to install and looked messy once installed. The strip of vinyl leftover by the bumpers left and right was not very wide and so it wanted to move around when trying to smooth the vinyl. This way is a little more work, but it is how a professional wrap shop would do it and it looks cleaner in the end.

I like it, how close is the color match to the side hood rubicon logo color? Also, could it be done with a red pinstripe around the edge to mimic the side logo?

The matte black is a good compliment for the RUBICON decals, IMO

The pinstripe is going to require that the decal is 2 complete layers, or you can purchase pinstripe vinyl and try your hand at adding the border. The process that the factory decals are made with (gloss material with a matte black center) is most likely screen printed which is not something available for small quantity products like this.

I would buy something like this! How much more would it be to have the red underline vs adding the red strip on top?

The red would double the price because its essentially a second decal just a little larger. The pinstripe would be much cheaper.

Thanks for the information it is very helpful...Is there any way you can do a thick red line around the outside without doing two sheets of vinyl?

Any pics of the standard decal (no pinstriping or red, etc) on a granite Rubi?

The first batch of these is starting to head out the door, so you should see pics popping up shortly.

Mine showed up the other day and the postal service beat the hell of the box. the hood decal was full of creases, but Don at Pixal Decals said they'd come right out when I applied it. sure enough they came right out and look fantastic. Very easy to install, and not a bad upgrade for under $100.00.

Dons products are first class! !!! Installed mine today, piece of cake. Follow his instructions, used a heat gun on low for the hood curve. I couldn’t be happier! Only Pixeldecals for me! Get new hood insulation plastic pins, all of mine but 2 broke.
