Hard to find 2 door Rubicons too. My wife decided she wants one and being so different than what she's used to driving, I really wanted her to drive one for herself before we ordered one. We could only find one 2 door Rubicon within 100 miles of us.

Yep just place an order. For some reason, most 2019 Rubicons have the 2.0. But just place an order and get exactly what you want. Good luck :like:
Agreed. If you're going into Rubicon price territory, it's better to order what you want. What is on the lots are usually some compromise.

Finding a 2 door is even more difficult. Just order what you want. Yes, it takes time, but it will be exactly what you want (or wanted). If you aren't in a rush, it is the way to do it. Every other time I bought a vehicle, I compromised as to what was on the dealers lot. Ordering took about 6 weeks, some people seem to take 2 weeks now.

is it just me, or is it really hard to find a 2019 Rubicon 4 door, auto, with a 3.6...is there an issue? a back order? or are they super popular right now? Dealer did a 200 mile search and found 1 with the options I would want, but not my color choice. I did a nationwide search and found 4 not with what I would want...dealer said best to order, but what’s up?
I had the same issue here in SoCal so I ordered a JLUR with the 3.6 on February 18th and it’s on the train heading west dealer said it will be here in two weeks or less

Mine was exactly 2 weeks from order to delivery to dealer. I ordered a 2-door Rubicon 2.0T though. Not sure how supply of 3.6 are and if that would have made any difference time wise? I recommend ordering after test-driving …if possible.

I wonder if they are hoarding 3.6 engines for the Gladiator since it's the only gas engine option for it?

That is super quick. I am in Socal as well and ordered JLUR manual feb 28. My dealer says it could take 2 weeks to get the VIN/VON number...

I've driven a 2.0 Rubicon. It's better on gas than my V6 Sahara...

The V6 Rubicon on the other hand.....

I'm pretty sure this is why FCA is pushing the 2.0 in the Rubis. :)

I am also buying a silver JL to attempt to make it look like the G Wagons from Jurassic World. Fun stuff.

Based on what others are saying on this forum, the 2.0's are, for the most part, getting no better gas mileage than the 3.6's. And the 2.0's recommend premium fuel...so any fuel savings is wash in costs. I have a 3.6 Rubi 2-Door and get an average of 20 mpg. I'll take it.

I can only base it off of my personal experience. When I test drove a 2.0 Rubi, I saw marginally better MPG than my 3.6 Sahara, sooo this makes it daily drivable in my book.

I've only driven 4 door JLs so far, so I can imagine 2 doors with both engines will be a little better with the lower weight.

So those 2 extra doors are costing me 3mpg? And by the way, premium is recommended, not required on the 2.0
