Rubicon Fender Width

Apologies if this is covered elsewhere- but does anyone know if the high clearance Rubicon fenders are any wider than the standard flares that come on sport, Sahara, etc?

Since the Rubicon has a wider track, does it also have wider flares?

Yes, the Rubicon fenders are 3/4 inch wider.

Yes, they are wider. I installed them on my sport, and they dont line up with my rear bumper, as the rubicon fenders stick out about an 1/2” at least. I can grab a measurement and a photo if you’d like.

I had no issue installing, I had to get A JSCAN to program in the daytime running lights, and the LEDs, but I think you can Use a tazer too. I enjoy the JSCAN. Tried to get every angle I could think of.

To be clear, my wheels are the stock steels, and I’m running a 265/70/17. A Bit wider than stock i believe, but still 31.6”

I have JScan as well. Do you remember the exact settings you changed to get the LEDS to work? Are they set up as DRLs too?

Yeah so they are set up to run as DRL, i can get a screen shot of the settings i used or something maybe a list, i keep meaning to write them down. These are of course the LED lights that came with the rubicon fenders.

The photo posted above shows them on as DRLs

Rubicon bumper on Sahara fenders if it helps at all.

So you went with halogen instead of LED?

They were lol. Now LED. I converted everything to LED.
