The difference is so drastic! I’m so happy with how well the Rubicon turned out.

My good friend MikeinMD stopped by with his JL Sahara and we took the time to take a few side by side picks
That's a couple of cool Jeeps indeed!!!

Very noticeable differences for sure but what I love about what Jeep has done is that they both look great. I like the bigger rims and running boards on the Sahara and I really like the bigger tires and higher fenders on the Rubicon. I went with the Rubicon because I like the more rugged exterior looks but I really like the interior of the Sahara with the leather wrapped dash and the more refined look. I wish I could have them both.

The only thing I don't care for on the Sarah's is the silver inserts in the grille, headlights, and bumper. Would have to make those black!

I like how some small cues, like the grill inserts and headlight surrounds, and side steps, change the look in a surprisingly effective way.

Congrats to you two on the good lookin Jeeps

Random question, why do you have the external EZ Pass transponder on your plate instead of the one on the windshield?

Yes, I'm impressed with both JLU's. My favorite is the Rubi though.

What I'm more impressed with is the quality of these pics... pictures we get these days with our friggin cellphones are awesome

Back in the early 90's, I had one of the first, high end digital cameras and geeeez, today's cellphone pics put the pics I got back then to shame.

It's just a personal preference, I try to keep things looking clean on the inside and to me the EZ Pass box that is made for the windshield is an eye sore.

Did you drive the Sahara?... Any difference that you can tell?
I did not and I haven't even gone for a ride in it yet but when I do I will update this post

It is really a nice color in person. It had me second guessing my decision on the Billet Silver

I don't want to upset anyone here, but the JL kicks ass (trim level deliberately left out for political correctness) here.

Hey, you know what, every year around this time you should take the same exact picture. Let's see how the boys grow older together, you know, join little league, Junior Dance, Prom...you get the idea.;)
