If they are tooled up for making the 392 Version, they aren't going to stop at 300 I assure you that. They may do a market test in certain areas but once the hose starts if there are no kinks its flows like hell. They will sell 300 in an hour.

Used to have a 304 in a CJ5 back in the 70's. I had it hopped up. That was a nice little vehicle. Man you couldn't stop it. 4 speed....

Kate is right. Sorta. They are only bringing 300 to our area. MId-Atlantic business center. They are making just over 3k nationwide for 2021. Building them between the last week of January and first week of June. They are going to make just over 9k as a 2022 Model year and order for those will start in March/April of 2021.

Hmm..my dealer (thousand oaks CA = Shaver Jeep = Albert Sales mgr), is telling folks a 10k limited run for the 392. I wonder who is right?

The Durango was to disappear, the Demon would never be reproduced (see Super Stock which is darn close)...if you have a winner, you keep making them. The Bronco will force FCA to keep the Jeep Wrangler competitive.

If i can be so bold... did you have to pay a heavy upcharge? My dealer is asking for $15k before he orders - allocates one to me? I told him "call me when you want to get closer to MSRP". I dont think $15k is fair in any way.. your thoughts?

You should be able to find one at or just below MSRP...

Yeah I have a thought, I think I would go to a different dealer...

I ordered it at MSRP. Had the GM email me stating that they would not up charge me for the ordered Jeep. I gave them a $5k deposit.

Did you get it in writing that if you do not like the vehicle you get a full refund? I would be sure and do that. You could lose your entire $5k if you hate it. (I doubt it, but just saying)...

What would I hate? I have a 2020 Rubicon in the same color I ordered the 392... To me, basically same vehicle....but better...more powerful...

I doubt they would waste the development costs for a 392, including crash testing to only make 300 units, that is laughable, but tell Kate nice story

They will sell as many as there are takers.

Only 1000 of the 2021 392's were built because of Covid. the total for the normal Wrangler in 2021 is 118,00 the 2022 year will have over 220,000 built.
