My '24 Rubi X 2-door was supposed to enter production today but has now been pushed back to D status...I half expected this after the email I received from Jeep Cares telling me they have (at least temporarily) stopped offering the 2-door with the 35" tire package due to 'capacity'...
I never received an email from Jeep Cares about stopping the 35" package. My order has been in D status since Feb 22nd.

Is it because of a 2.0 engine shortage or the 35" tire package shortage?

I never received an email from Jeep Cares about stopping the 35" package. My order has been in D status since Feb 22nd.

I had sent Jeep Cares an email asking if they could fix the Build and Price consumer site that had just been updated that day but no longer allowed you to select the either the 2.0 option or the 8-Speed Auto with either engine...Below is the response I received:

Yet still on the Canada Build & Price...

The Jeep order builder is a horrible system. This is the second Jeep I have ordered in two years. Both have options missing I would have added.

We're planning to order a 2-door with 35" tires. I'm a newb to the order process, what does "capacity issues" refer too? Not having something in stock or that the 2-door can't really be configured with 35" tires due to some issue?

In other words, is this a temporary can't do, that might be enabled in the future? Looking nationwide, I haven't seen any 2-doors with 35" tires.

Asking AI...

The term “capacity issues” in the context of a Jeep build typically refers to the vehicle’s ability to handle certain loads or perform specific tasks. Here are a few aspects related to capacity issues in the context of Jeep builds:

  1. Towing Capacity:
  2. Payload Capacity:
Has any been built? Anyone take delivery of a 2-door with 35" tires from the factory?

A temporary issue gathering all parts needed. The axles and 2.0l engine seem to be the hold up. I'm sure they got a huge order of 2 doors with the 35" tire package when the order banks opened. The same thing happened when they originally opened up the extreme recon package a couple years ago.

I hope so! We were just at the dealer comparing a Rubicon X to a 4 door Willys that had the extreme recon package

First 2-door JL with 35" tire package I've found and it's a Willys in transit!
Now if they will just build my Ruby X 2-door...

What dealer is the above Willys in transit to? If it's anywhere in the Denver metro area I want to crawl under and get the part number off the springs. For research purposes, of course!
