This question has been asked and answered many times: Can I put Rubicon tires on a Sport? The response from the forum has been an overwhelming YES!
But I'm a little confused at the common supplementary observations:
- No rubbing unless flexing hard
- Recommended removal of euro covers to prevent possible rubbing
- Brakes working a little harder
- Possible need to re-gear
- Possible need to adjust speedo
- Suggestions to also add the Rubicon shocks if possible
It appears that there are technical reasons, even little ones, why the Sport is not designed to have the Rubicon tires. If so, what are they?
I'm waiting for my first jeep, a six-speed 2-Door Sport S with anti-spin rear diff. And I'm clearly a newbie - thanks for your help!
