Hi JJ, in the last pic you get a good idea of how tight the trail is generally. It's actually quite a bit tighter in places which keeps you on your toes. There are places where you just fit, without scratching paint if you're careful and go slow.

Granted, it was the end of the season and things were a bit overgrown (I think). I remember seeing a Mile-Hi Jeep club trail sign at the beginning. It looks like they are doing a good job at trail maintenance. I got through without any scratches. Some of the water crossings are axle deep...we found several hidden boulders so you want be cautious as to what you can't see. All of my armor got a good workout on this trail.

Great. That’s the kind of report I hoped for! Makes me even more ready to tackle that trail!

Here's some more pics of the Baja Designs LP4's. They have a very cool feature that allows for an amber backlight/DRL. It's visible during the day and way cool at night...

Look for some video soon on Expedition Builds-YouTube.

Steven,

Going way back to an old post. Can you tell me how or where you tied in the amber backlight of the LP4’s.

Thanks

Justin

Hey Justin, it's been awhile since I did that mod and had to think for a sec? I snapped a pic for you.

This is the main fuse board(between battery/firewall).

This was straight out of the instructions from Baja Designs. My tie-in is the red wire running on the bottom right of the fuse board. Let me know if you need more details for the fuse number I used? On most of my Diode Dynamics lights I am tying into one of the pins from my Tow Package Harness.

Great. That’s helpful and pics are priceless. Is that a fuse then that’s accessory power or tied to some lighting?
Where are on the Jeep are you accessing the towing harness power. At the back or under the hood somewhere?

Let me look back through my notes/pics, as I don't want to post bad info.. I'll get back to you shortly with more info soon.
