I’ve found the search function here pretty much useless. 100 irrelevant hits for every relevant one.
You have to scroll through the pages, I’m afraid.
Excellent advice there. Will scroll through on suspension page. I am sure to find it.

A lot of times I find it better to use google to search this forum.

I picked up a Rubi takeoff suspension on Monday. I've been researching all week. This is the most thorough discussion I saw. It does say Sahara, but it applies well to Sport S.

https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/rubicon-springs-on-sahara.10715/

The quick summary is a Sport S will realize about 1.5" of lift. The spring size on the Rubicon varies based on what the Rubicon has on it. 4 door, steel bumper, tow, and hard top would have tallest springs. You only need to swap out springs and shocks, but many people recommend swapping in the lower control arm (lca) from the 2" Mopar lift (31.99 ea). This helps improve caster. Many people are combining with teraflex 0.5" spacers. In this case the lca is a bigger help. With the spacer you can expect about 2".

Google is better than the search here.

I got a set of take off control arms with my Rubi takeoff suspension. Is that what you’re talking about or will I need the arms from the kit?

The recommendation I've seen is to purchase the ones from the kit. Apparently all trim levels use the same control arms and people found it a tad too short affecting their steering (even those running stock on Rubicon) . Many, like me are adding a 1/2" teraflex spacer which adds to the need for slightly longer control arms.

You can read about it here and also see where I tracked down a good deal:

I'm waiting on everything to arrive and I'll report back when I get it done. I've had great steering from the get go, so I'm a tad nervous. But I guess I could always call a mulligan if I don't like the outcome.

Installed the Rubicon takeoffs springs and shocks on my 2018 JLU sport 4 door. The Rubicon springs numbers are 68253591aa, 68253592aa Rear and 68253661ac and 68253662ac Front. Along with the springs and shocks I also installed the Mopar 2 inch lift lower control arms number (82215398AB) and a Daystar 3/4 inch lift kit (DAYKJ09181BK) I also installed Rusty’s front track bar brace (RC-TB7500-JL). The change out took about 5 hours. I also had the jeep realigned and with the new lower control arms the caster came in at 6. The Jeep tracks straight and steers very well. Here are the height numbers before and after the install.

Before Right front 37 1/8 Left front 37 1/8 Right rear 37 1/2 Left rear 37 5/8

After Right front 39 1/4 Left front 39 1/4 Right rear 39 1/4 Left rear 39 3/8

A 2 inch lift using mostly Mopar parts. $200.00 for the Rubicon takeoffs, $50.00 for the Daystar 3/4 lift kit, $70.00 for the lower control arms and $100 for the track bar mount for a total of $425.00 plus $85.00 for the alignment. The 2 door JL will have a higher lift due to the weight difference.
