Rubi Express 2.5" with Fox reservoir on 2018 JLUR...thoughts?

Thinking about putting a Rubi Express 2.5" Super Ride with some Fox 2.0 Performance Reservoirs on my 2018 JLUR. Thoughts? Anyone running this setup? Any suggestions, I am looking to stay under $1500 for this lift and I thought this was a pretty decent deal. My last Jeep was a 2008 JK and I had an RC 4", didn't care much for the RC lifts as I had to replace the springs after about a year.

Can you clarify why they are the wrong shocks? the website stated they will call and verify prior to shipping. I haven't ordered yet

All 4 JL shocks have top and bottom mounting holes no studs.

If you plan for offroad go with dual rate springs. They stay in the seat/isolater position when articulated and JL is critical in this respect.

Doug is right about shocks, I’ve been waiting for the reservoirs to come out, and as far as I know they haven’t yet. You can get them for jk now, but for some reason they’re taking their sweet ass time on ours.

These are available now. They even have the RRs with the LSC adjustment.

Rubicon express has gone downhill since the trans buyout. They are using more procomp parts now post buyout and it’s been going downhill with them for several years. Sad, because they used to be entry level good stuff. Owned 2 pre buyout kits and initial post buyout showed improvements in design...then they gave up.
