I have just driven from Preston to Aberdeen (330 miles) with cruise control on all the way between 70 and 72 mph and only got 20 mpg which seems a bit low even with 315 tyres on??? Anyone else finding motorway mpg is pants. I didn’t buy it for this I know but the snow forced me to use it instead of my other vehicle. Forgot to mention 2.0 petrol running on Tesco 99 posh petrol😳😳

I just got my 2.0t Rubicon a few weeks ago but I was hoping it was going to be better on fuel. I, like you, am only getting approx 20mpg.
It only has a few hundered miles on it so I'm hoping that it will improve slightly as the miles go up and it loosens off a bit.

I average 16mpg around town with a 3.6L V6. But then I have a lead foot, and 3 recent photo camera tickets to prove it. :(

It's refreshing so see someone here with documentation to back up their claims;)

I think I averaged 16.4 miles/gallon at my last fuel up (3.6L with manual transmission) - I didn’t have great hopes for a rig that has the aerodynamic properties of a stream lined safe, but with oil north of $60/barrel, it’s not going to be as cheap to run as it once was...

We average 14 mpg on road trips out of our 2.0t. Of course that’s with the cruise control set at 85+mph, a weeks worth of camping gear, tools, compressor, winch, hi-lift, etc, 2.5” lift, and heavy 37” x-mt’s. If I keep it under 70 we get closer to 17 mpg. Turning 14 hours of driving into 11.5 hours is well worth the extra $40 in fuel over 1,000 mile trip. My time is worth far more than $15/hr.
