Routes through Kansas / Northern Oklahoma

I'll be headed to Colorado and on to Utah in 2 and a half weeks leaving from Kansas City. Just wondering if there are any interested routes through Kansas or Northern Oklahoma that are worthwhile so I can avoid the boring I-70 drive that I've done at least 20 times or any cool places to check out along the way.

The Trans America Trail? Check it out, but maybe a bit slower than you want. I'll be in that section of the TAT in late June, early July as I head for Idaho through Colorado and Utah. Overlanding.

Having gone out to Colorado from southern Kansas for the past few years… stay on I70 unless you decide to do the TAT. There is nothing at all worth looking at except feed lots cattle
