So i was talking to dealership today and they quoted me 4000.00 for a Mopar 2” lift and 1.34 wheel spacers and 35 12.50 17 nitro grappler tires for my factory wheels. Does this sound like a good deal? Or should i look at something else? I live on east coast. Not rock crawling. Have a JLU sport. Just daily driver and drive on the beach in NC. Would a spacer lift be better? I know cheaper—-same setup. Just 2” AEV spacer lift and it was gonna run 2600.00 installed. Need some feedback please!!! What do you guys and girls think—-just want to know from y’all since there are a lot of peeps that have already done it both ways. Thanks in advance!!!!!!

Going spacer Setup you start losing some ride comfort at lower speeds. the shocks start getting maxed out on stock shocks so it’ll feel somewhat “stiffer” it’ll look good but you may slowly notice a compromised ride. 4 grand isn’t far fetched when the mopar runs usually 1600 sometimes you can get lucky and find it for 1100. Tires aren’t cheap either then you run labor in the mix also. The mopar lift is great rides and handles really nice. And you most deff will notice slightly more than 2” total lift. Just depends what you really want to spend in all honesty. And it kinda sucks because literally NOTHING is “cheap” for JLs yet haha.

The Mopar lift on a Sport is going to give you closer to 3.5" lift (you get 2" lift on Rubicons). If you're not doing any hardcore offroading then the spacer lift is fine. Mine rides just like stock. With the money you save you can buy wheels with the proper offset (I'm not a fan of wheel spacers). Also the wheels will be wider to properly accommodate 12.5" wide tires. Then you can sell your stock wheels/tires to offset some of the cost.

Just going to beach and light off reading. Not going rock crawling. When at beach of ruts are deep enough. I am rubbing on skid plates. That what triggered me into thinking about a lift. Pulls good. But don’t want it rubbing

Its a lease so i went basic. RC 2.5” spacer lift, Synergy 1.625” wheel spacers, 305/70/18,(also says 35x12.5 on it), Mastercraft MXT tires on factory sahara 18” wheels. No rub, looks good, and rides real close to stock. 32 psi seems perfect for these after multiple rides and chalk tests. Definitely need a spare relocation bracket, 35’s hit the rear bumper. I ordered an EAG relocation plate for $60. Should do the job

The RC lift is high quality and rides just like factory, but you call tell your center of gravity is higher, effecting handling very slightly. The alignment was in spec and the thrust angle was only 0.07 degrees off of center(better than most cars from factory)

Tires are 295/70/17 Yokohama G003 e load. Super quiet, can’t brlieve it. Very happy with both purchases.

Looks good. Is this the spacer kit or the shock/spring kit?

Hello friend. I have the same exact Wrangler as you and I really like the look on yours. I have hated the stock wheels ever since I bought them but your aggressive tires make the wheels look significantly better. I am seriously considering copying everything you did!

Question - did you install the lift yourself? If not, was it at a local shop or a dealer?

PS: if you have more pics of your Jeep to share, I'd love to see additional angles.

I absolutely love mine! No complaints whatsoever, ride quality is great too.

That is perfect. May I ask what your wheel and tire set up is?
