How is the kit holding up? I’m eyeing this one up since it seems to come with all the other hardware needed

Post some pics of this setup and how you like it. Not trying to debate the functionality versus a complete lift but more so for aesthetic purposes.

I went 2.5 RC w/ 35s on RC wheels and Front n rear RC tube bumpers. Use mostly as my DD and hunting during the winter. Love the ride so far. The Ridge Grapplers have lived up to their hype. My favorite set up so far.

@SGreyRubi82 Did you find that the Rear was lower than the front? Or is this only happening with Rubis with Steel Bumpers?

So I'm highly considering this lift. I will include the front and rear adj TB. I bought my jlu sport S Altitude used with 75k miles so I'm already fixing the front-end due to wondering (still has the aluminum box), shimmy and DW. My jlu will mostly be highway driving with the occasional trail ride, no rock crawling but will see medium articulation. I prefer a factory ride if not a little softer. I have no expectations of going bigger that 35's and will probably stick to an aggressive AT.

QUESTIONS

Has anyone recently installed and or is currently running this specific lift?
Does these specific shocks do a good job?
What load range/style tires are you running?
Will I need to get LCA relocation brackets?
What, if any, other brand of 2.5" lift would you recommend that is $1k or less?
DO NOT WANT TO PUT A BUDGET BOOST ON THIS THING!

ANSWERS/COMMENTS
I am running the 3.5" version of this lift as I wanted to go to a 34" tall tire and have a bit more articulation without rubbing. I also knew that I was going to hang some accessories on the JL and was pretty sure it would settle a bit so I gave myself a little extra height.

The Premium N3 option shocks do a great job & I believe they come standard with the kit. The on-road ride improved considerably over stock and offroad the performance is good. I don't do any high speed offroading but for creeping and crawling they work great. When the time comes to replace the N3 shocks I may upgrade.

I am running Toyo Open Country ATIII, Load Range E, in a 285/75R17.

My kit has the LCA relocation brackets and they were definitely needed for the 3.5" lift. It is a very complete kit. They do recommend a longer front drive shaft for the 3.5" lift kit but mine has plenty of engagement and at full flex it's still sufficent unless I were to drop it hard on a rock or hard object while fully extended.

I can't recommend anything else as I haven't tried anything else. The Rough Country kit works for me. I had used RC's leveling kits on a succession of Ram 2500 trucks and never had a problem with those kits which is why I looked at RC's lift kits.

Don't forget to re-torque the fasteners after running this kit for a while. IIRC, I did it after two trails rides and about 100 miles. Didn't find much that needed tightening.

Good luck with your lift kit choice.
