Roof Racks...and Carwash

Thinking about a roof rack then I started to wonder how happy one might be going through the car wash. Is it acceptable or do the brushes wann'a tear it off??

I have a Rhino Rack and there is no problems going through the Costco car wash.

Most recommend not going through an automatic wash and doing it by hand once a rack is added. I’d imagine any damage caused from going through a car wash would void any warranty.

I've had roof racks on vehicles forever. They always say they're not responsible for damage but I've never had an issue.

I have the rhino pioneer rack, and run it through an auto brush car wash regularly. Zero problems. Had concern about it at first, but not a single issue. No brushes getting hung, no leaks. Some of it may depend on the rack you have and the car wash you go to.

I have never used an automatic carwash after owning Jeeps, too many mods that can be fucked up by it, CB antenna, winch, lights, snorkel, roofrack, sunrider...you name it!

If you have to have an automatic car wash go to one of the touchless places. its just basically water and soap spraying on your jeep, should not cause an issue.
