Cool. Let us know after you try it a few times. I would be interested about your impressions of this system on the fiberglass JL roof.Ok so I went another direction now, I ordered this temp. soft rack, I'll post after I get a chance to use it:

I've driven across Florida with an FCS soft rack and several boards, no problem. They are a bit of a pain getting the boards on and off compared to a hard rack, so if you are using it all the time it can get annoying. However, for just going to my local beach, I just throw my 8' board in the back with the rear seat folded down and the board sticking out with the glass open.Ok so I went another direction now, I ordered this temp. soft rack, I'll post after I get a chance to use it:

nice looking Jeep!So after much research I went with the Mopar cross bars and the INNO surf adapter. I really wanted something that I could lock my boards as I typically trek with more than one board so that I can have the choice of which board to ride depending on conditions.

Do you get any whistling or obvious noise from the rack when you’re not carrying boards?
Hey MarcDM - thanks so much for this post last year. I am currently facing a similar situation that you were facing. I have a 2021 2-door wrangler coming, and I'm looking for surfboard rack options. The one difference, is that I have a soft top not a hard top.So after much research I went with the Mopar cross bars and the INNO surf adapter.
