If I want to keep my factory Rubi rails, are Ace rock sliders the only option I’m left with? Some of these other suggestions are certainly peaking my interest...

I use the Rock Slide Engineering rail. I am planning on upgrading the slider with the optional skid plate to make the unit stronger. I chose this slider because I have artificial knees and without it my wife couldn't get into the jeep. Just another option.

Bought the Smittybilt rock sliders, they look great and easy to get in/out of the Jeep.

I dare any Walmart customer to ding my door. Go on. I double dare ya. :)

I have these too, parked right next to a BMW at the grocery store that was well over the line, was severely disappointed when I came out and it hadn't left yet. I liked that I didn't have to touch that body bolt everyone keeps breaking.

I saw some people complaining about the powder coating quality. Time will tell.

The Smittybilt's sacrifice too much clearance for my taste and for some reason I just don't like the look of the ACE sliders. Still waiting for a reply from Quadratec (losing hope there) and leaning more towards the Rockhard's or the LOD's.

I have the Brute Strength side steps on order. Supposed to be here tomorow. I'll install them Saturday.

They really don’t hang down any lower than the frame and other bits.

Enjoying mine, and like that they compliment the SRC front and rear bumpers.

Easy peasy man. Rock hard. Made in the USA by a family owned and operated company. They are built well and the only thing I can fault them on is the powdercoat in certain areas (underneath) got beat up quickly with the Illinois salt.

I'm waiting 4-6 weeks on my ACE engineering sliders... Ha!

Went with the ACE sliders as they attach to the frame bolts and you do NOT have to remove the factory sliders. Quite a bit of protection!

These were my original choice too, but the first body bolt I attempted to loosen snapped, and that was a very expensive fix.

Swore off any modifications that require touching those, so went with the SRC armor instead.

With these frame mounted rails you can keep your Rubicon rails at the same time. Double protection.

That was my take on them as well. Before I saw a Jeep with them on, got low and saw it was higher than a lot of what’s under the Jeep.

This weekend I joined Cumberland Crawlerz at Rausch Creek Off Road Park and did some trails that were tougher that I ever did before. The Smittybilt rock sloders did the job without getting in the way.

I accidentally went on part of a black trail and shockingly didn’t bottom out. Apparently the group split up and I ended up with the Jeeps that break off every now and then when there's a challenging spot. :)
