Do they work well as a step?![]()

Rust-Oleum Bedliner Spray provides no traction at all.Does this provide a little more traction for using the rail as a step in wet conditions? Or, would a grip tape work better?
Yes, can be used as a step by many people. Sure if you are challenged you might need a better alternative for a step.Do they work well as a step?
I'm familiar with Rust-Oleum in general ... but, not their bed-liner spray. I thought as a bed-liner spray it might have grip elements added.Rust-Oleum provides no traction at all.
Had to look that model up -The ACE sliders look a lot like the sliders that are/ were standard on the late 2017 (& ‘18?) JKU Freedom Edition. Question for our friends at ACE: did Jeep copy your design or farm it out to your company?
I like the looks and dual functionality of the ace sliders. Just ordered them from Northridge 4x4 using the promo code in this thread. I just need to make sure my family & friends don't slip on them in wet weather. Do any of you know of solutions to this? Below are two I'm considering...Yeah, I definitely want something that works as a functional rock rail/slider but also doubles as a useful step.
Wow, those seem really narrow to use as a step. Is it just the photo angle, or will a snow boot have a hard time fitting onto that?![]()

My one Son has Ace Slicers on his JK. I don't find them to narrow to use as a step. Picture makes them look smaller and closer to side of vehicle that they actually are. They have to stick out from side about 6". Perhaps someone can give you a measurement. My Son's JK is not at this location or I would give you the measurement.Wow, those seem really narrow to use as a step.
