Hi James, Judging from your pic, and the sway link you have now, I’d say you can get the part # RK07140 for 2”- 4” lift. As long as you’re on a lift, and not running stock springs, these should work great for you.
Right now I just have a 2.5 spacer on top of the stock springs. I remember reading somewhere on the forum that a guy ended up with the wrong ones once he measured the length of the sway bar links. I’ve been trying to buy once and cry once on this build.

Yeah, you’re on 2.5” lift, those that I referenced will work great.

Got it done…… :whew: …….just finished giving it a shade tree mechanic alignment. It drives amazing on the highway. Hopefully I’ll hit a trail this weekend. It was a lot of work, but I really enjoyed it…….I got a few things to tweak but all in all I’m really happy with it….

She’s still flexy……..😁

I love RKs attention to high clearance…….👍
You can see the difference in the shock/control arm brackets, I didn’t realize how low the oem brackets were …….

I love my RK long arms. It rides great on the highway and zero flex/binding issues when out on the trails. The JL has become the camping rig, but it will take us into some extreme spots to camp. The YJ is now the hard-core wheeler.

Thanks. Realized I was wheeling the JL a bit too hard and bought the YJ. It's got a 5.3L Chevy, 4L60E, 3.8 Atlas (front digs are fun), Chevy Dana 60 front with RCVs, 14 bolt rear with 300m shafts, 14" travel 2.0" RadFlo's, most everything from Motobilt that they make for the YJ. Got lucky and picked it up from a guy who spent almost 2yrs building it and never wheeled it. I put the first scratches in it.

Realized I should have posted this here..Is it possible to just swap out 2.5” springs for 3.5” to compensate for the weight?

I had the RK 2.5 X Factor No limits installed. So far its been great. One question I have is my rear low? Only ask because I recently went and hit some trails. I got quite a bit of rubbing in the rear. Right where the bumper wraps around. Not much clearance there. And its just plastic. Just wondering if my tent set up forced the springs to settle quicker than normal or do these springs need to be stiffer? I'm running Maxxis Razr 37x12.5's.

Here's the best side by side I can get right now.

First right when the install was done

There’s guys that run a one inch taller spring in the rear, with no issues. That plastic behind the rear wheel can be removed, or you can take a heat gun and reshape it, (sink it in) . You might even need to cut the rear pinch seam which a lot of us have done.

Looking at your bottom pic it looks like the front and rear both are lower, and that might be the way it’s sitting. You need to take another pic with the wheels straight and mimic the first pic better. Even though it looks flat in the second pic, the slightest off camber and having the wheel turned is enough to make it look different…... Nice Rig!

You are probably right. I'll take another shot of it. I do think both front and rear are lower. Springs settle normally but how much depends on added weight. Since the first pic I added a steel front bumper and winch.

And you're spot on about the rear bumper area. I can see where it's rubbed. Not too concerned about it because I plan to replace the bumper....so more weight lol. If the RK springs don't handle weight well I may consider doing the taller springs in the back. Maybe front too so it's level when the tent is off.

Thanks!
