So my track bar was hitting my exhaust at full stuff. If I had it to do over I would’ve rotated my track bar bracket forward from where the instructions had me put it. But that milk is spilled, time to clean it up and move on. My fix for the problem was cut the exhaust where I could weld it easily enough and put in a section to push muffler towards the bumper. Works great now. As I’ve documented on here many times, I’m not a very good welder, so you pros, go easy on me, at least it doesn’t leak..…….🙂

Looks good to me. Should have left a hole in it so on Friday nights you can hang out at the Circle-K.

Cool pics 👍🏻. Looks a ton like Crooms. Do you need to air down on that terrain? Just curious

I see a Borla Touring Climber cat-back in your future, when the time comes for needing a replacement.

You can get better traction if you do, it’s red clay and sand mixture, so when it’s dry, it’s hard as a rock. You can burn rubber on it. But if it gets wet, it’s like driving on a bar of soap. Lol.

Lol. I remember riding dirt bikes in crooms when wet. You are spot on, very slippery

I’ll have to listen to that one, I’m looking for something not much if any louder than stock.

RPM tie rod and drag link.... anyone have the measurements for the 72.5" axles. I ordered them for my 73.5" axles a d everything came marked as 72.5". Looking for measurements of the bars themselves not including the ends. Thanks

With Black Friday upon us I'm thinking I may order some upgrades. How is that possible as I think I only just put in the last screw from the prior round of orders?? Lot's of the latest have been overland stuff. Finally after 6 months got my new electric fridge. Ice cream on trail rides!

List has:
New dynatrac ball joint as mine are already clicking (even after tightening them from stock torque but probably did that bit too late). Think given the cost will throw new Reid knuckles in at same time.

That long arm upgrade is looking pretty tempting. Not much price discount only 5%, but I think its time. Thanks Roky for making this post and costing me $3K

Rear drive shaft is 15% off from Adams which is what I have on the front. Need a measurement to order. I'm at 44.5" lip to lip on the RK short arm kit. Roky what are you at or anyone did you guys do the rear driveshaft upgrade yet? Will the long arm extend the rear axle a bit from the RK short arm kit?

Going to throw some rear axle shafts in also. Any thoughts on Yukon (20% off at $560) vs. Advantek (10% off at $392). My only experience has been with Alloy US shafts in the TJ.

Northridge cart adding up...

Hi Joe….

Glad I could help with spending your money, lol……. I’m still running the stock driveshaft, you know, if it ain’t broke………lol.

The long arms don’t affect driveshaft length. They raise the shock/control arm mounts on the axle by about 3” ………

You will love the long arms, freakin game changer.lol.

Given our builds are 90% the same I know exactly what you mean.
I put on the rock hard skid protectors to address that. Lowers it another 1/2" and I absolutely hate the boat anchor of this JL design. The TJ has a custom long arm kit with coil overs trussed into the frame. Was almost no lower hang.
I sold the TJ few months back so just beefing up the JL now a bit more.

As mentioned before, I don't love the way this new JL drives. I just don't have it dialed in.
I'm hoping the long arm helps with its road manners. Part of my issue is its too rear heavy thats messing with my front/rear weight distribution so this things wanders too much for my liking.

Front new ball joints to stiffen it up. Increase castor another .5 at the same time
I got a new heavy duty sway bar that will install with this change (technically the opposite of doing a currie rear sway bar to loosen it up). May impede travel a bit but need better road manners as I drive all around the west with this rig.
Then the long arm swap. Keeping the Fox 2.5 DSC
BTW what size bump stops do you have in the rear?

Kinda feel like I should have done the UD60 up front, but half pregnant now on existing setup.
