Congrats! How many R&D JL's are you planning? I'll happily take it off your hands once you're done with your research :cwl:

I like driving by your dealership in GI seems like always something I have to stop and look at.

We'll end up buying 3 to ensure we have total coverage.

3 x JL's :clap::rock::like: RH4x4 bring it hard!

Curious, did you guys get any advanced specs from FCA for development purposes?
Yes and no. Yes, we know ideas and concepts Jeep is/was working on, but the first 100+ JL's will be "hand built". That means between the early release industry models (trade shows, industry or presser reveals), won't be production models. For us, we need production models. We need to get models that will be just like the ones that will make it onto dealership lots. There will be hardware changes, emissions parts changes, interior changes, tweaks, etc. Getting our hands on the first 100 would result in us developing parts that may or may not fit a true production model.

Getting in on the "first off the line" is actually a bad move.

Rock hard...what are you guys shooting for timeline wise to get product to the public and production started? 4,6,12 months after you get your hands on a few JLs?

Finally have an update! Our Rubicon is off the line. Thanks to a unique entertainment / electronics package we ordered, our delivery is later than units ordered the same day as ours.

Our responsibility as a cage manufacturer is to make sure we always order the most complicated unit we can. We did the same thing with our first JK back in 07. We had to make sure that when developing a cage, we'd be compatible with all stereo/sensor groups an installer could possible come across. The JL is no different. Of course we could have had a Sport model weeks ago, but that's now the trim level we want to develop parts off of.

Our JL is now built, at a 3rd party part of the supply chain, then off to KZ status. Should have it in our hands inside of a few days!
