Finally! Anxiously waiting for your reply if it works with your LCA skids.

I will be buying one as soon as they are available now. Been waiting for this.
Already available. Order away. We made a massive run of them since they (nearly) fit in stockings for Christmas.

Installed these over the weekend. If you already have the front lca skids installed, you'll need to move the passenger side lca skid out of the way to get access to remove one of the bolts from the factory FAD skid.

Once the RH fad skid is on do you still have to remove lca skid to get fad skid off ?

I tested this skid plate the hard way at Jericho State Park in New Hampshire last month. I got stuck in the rocks and boulders and had the entire weight of the front of the Jeep up and on this skid plate. It got pounded and then drug across a big rock. It has a nice big gouge in it now but it did the job and protected the works! I am so glad I added this just before that trip.

I'll post a pic or two of it when I get a chance.

My wife is picking up her JLUR tomorrow night and we've decided to pretty much leave it stock. But one mod is a sure bet and that's this little skid plate!

Were you able to remove/install the FAD skid without removing the LCA skid? I wasn’t able to do that. I installed the LCA skids last night and went out today to install the FAD skid but couldn’t get it to fit even after removing the LCA skid nylon nut and pushing the end of the bolt flush with the LCA skid.

I’m not sure what we’re doing differently, but I can install and remove the FAD and LCA skids independently of one another. It’s been a while since I installed them. I do remember the LCA skids being a pain to get on, I had to slide them on a certain way to get them on the “ears” and then insert the shims and get it all lined up for the bolt to go through. But I put the FAD skid on without removing them. I may have had to remove the nut and tap the end of the bolt back out of the way, but I didn’t remove the bolt completely or the skid itself.
