purchased a RH 4x4 patriot aluminum rear bumper to match the front one i put on.
install was very easy... instructions are pretty good, but i think they should put a video online.
bumper was very light, but waaaaay stronger than the crap plastic one i took off.
i think it looks great, and will be far better protecting the vehicle.
one thing though, i didnt read carefully and only realized AFTER i put it on... it will NOT fit the spare with the factory spare tire carrier. you have to buy their spare tire carrier. it is solid plate with not tire cutout.
it cost $109 and it is basically an adapter to adjust the height and depth of the factory one.
it installed easily and looks great.

oh.. forgot to say.. buy it at northridge 4x4 and save shipping..which is considerable!
on the front bumper it was $275... rear $117...carrier $54
i am sure combined it wouldve been less, but i bought it all one at a time, so i saved $446!
it all gets drop shipped directly from RH4x4 anyway

Nice looking bumper. I almost bought this bumper but I didn't want to have to buy the spare tire riser. How much higher is your spare tire sitting now?

if you look at the before and after pics... not much at all. maybe an inch or two. i have it at a very low setting....so that the wires for the camera and brake light dont need extending.
what it really does is move it OUT an inch or two to clear their bumper.
view through the rear window is unaffected.

also, i can not say enough how awesome the quality of their stuff is.
construction, fit, and finish are superb
you get what you pay for here, for sure.

Thanks for the share. How does it look on the side with the fender?

Thanks that's the best side shot I have seen. Looks like it flows with the fender better than most

Looks great. I noticed you have the sensor holes open. I just installed my RH4x4 steel rear bumper last weekend. My Jeep didnā€™t come with the safety group so I donā€™t have the sensors either. I thought the bumper came with plugs, but mine didnā€™t so I emailed RocHard and they shipped some out to me. They sent me 4 plastic plugs that fill the holes nicely. Just letting you know in case you didnā€™t realize.

Doc... Duh.
Iā€™ve been looking for an aluminum rear. I really hated the idea of the spare tire being higher and taking up even more window view. So it looks like this moves it out so itā€™s in front of the bumper?

yes.. out about 3 inches and up maybe 2 inches. the up isnt a lot at all.
stock has a cut out for the tire. the rock hard doesnt.. so the tire mount moves it out to clear the bumper. but if you look at my pics, youll see that it doesnt go up much at all relative to the seam on the bottom of the door.
